Uncle Lachlan's 18 Christmas Eve

It was the night before Christmas, and all through the abode, there were children playing with their toy railroad. Lachlan heard in the dining room choo-choo trains plus some cheer, and thought to himself ‘what are the rules here?’ Then he got all the adults, they gathered with a moan. They didn’t want to play with trains, shares or stocks in their home. Unrelenting he gathered monopoly cash*, to speculate on his nephew’s train company crash!

 18 Christmas Eve is an 18xx game set in a house with toy trains Christmas eve.  It requires a copy of 18Chesapeake to play, as it used the tiles, stock market, trains and tokens (and most of the rules) from that game.

It is completely untested, and was an idea I had Christmas Day. I have toyed around, and made sure that the map is playable, but this one is a bit of a wild ride. A more decorated version may follow soon, but in the absence of anything horrible, this is it.

• An A4 page of the new privates
• A map (that will fit over the 18Chesapeake Map) as 2 A4 PDFs, and (as an alternative), 1 A3 PDF
• Rules in PDF format

*We all know that he should be playing with poker chips - it knocks time off the game. But the poem was doggerel as it stood already, and trying to fit 'non-denominational game chips' seemed like too much a stretch
